What is Photorealism?

Photorealism is an artform (in sculpture, paints and pencils) characterised by the exceptionally detailed depiction of ordinary life with the impersonality of a high resolution photograph.

It is considered to be the forerunner to Hyperrealism where feelings, emotions and narrations are added.
