NEWS UPDATE - We are currently in talks with The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust elephant orphanage regarding supporting their work

Conservation & Support

Help us support the Friends of Rietvlei - We donate 10% of the profits from every sale of paintings or prints by Larry Norton to this charity.

The Friends of Rietvlei are a volunteer led organisation who are actively involved in the fight against Rhino poaching, and nature conservation of the fauna and flora in the Rietvlei Nature Reserve in Pretoria.

They assist the management of the Reserve with the continuous planning and execution of various projects to add value and to maintain the Reserve.

Unfortunately they have been the target of more than one attack of their own rhinos by a highly organised syndicate using helicopters and ground crew, who managed to kill and dehorn some of the rhinos.

The artist embarked on a major fundraising drive for the Children's Cancer Unit, Red Cross Children's Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa which raised approximately $7,000 for the unit.

In November 2002, the sale of a painting raised approximately $9000 for the Rainforest Foundation.

Sales of prints have raised money for the "Save Hwange Trust" in 2006 and 2007.

Larry Norton is currently involved with fund raising effort for Hwange National Park through both the Save Hwange Trust and Friends of Hwange Trust.
