FAQs

Why should I buy from Continental Shift and not directly from the artist?

African wildlife artists frequently spend large periods in the Bush, doing what they love doing best away, from easy access to communication. We are a high availability British company that typically returns customer emailed queries within 24hrs whilst providing website access to the artists' work at no extra cost.

Why is the art not framed?

All our African wildlife art is produced and shipped from Africa. To keep costs and chances of damage to a minimum, all work is shipped in a protective tube directly to the customer. The artwork frame is also a very personal choice that needs to match the tastes of the individual and match the environment where it will ultimately hang.

Why does the art take 15 days to ship?

The art is printed to order in Cape Town, South Africa. It is then sent via 3rd party companies to it's final overseas destination. Many factors are at work that are beyond our control such as the African postal service, international transit times and Customs clearance. However, we would normally expect shipping times to be under 15 days.
