Shower Rejuvenation in Ightham
A travertine shower cubicle had suffered years of neglect and was long overdue for some serious TLC!
Using a silicon carbide brush on a handheld rotary, and diamond blocks and wire brushes for the corners, the mould and staining soon started to shift with the help of a powerful alkaline cleaner.
After washing off the slurry and neutralising the alkaline, 2 coats of a solvent-based cleaner were used to protect the tiles from permanent damage going forward.
